Shares of Tata Motors were trading 5 per cent higher at Rs 183 on the BSE in early morning trade after the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said it expects improved financial results for the quarter ended March 2019 (Q4FY19). In comparison, the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex was up 0.62 per cent at 38,913 level at 09:39 am. |

Tata Motors Saturday said it will increase prices of its passenger vehicles range by up to Rs 25,000 from April on account of rising input costs and external economic conditions. The company joins the likes of Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover which have also stated that they would hike prices of select models from April. |

Tata Motors bags orders for over 2,500 CVs

Tata Motors Monday said it has bagged orders for over 2,500 commercial passenger transportation vehicles (CVs) from various institutional customers and it is in the process of delivering these units. The company has bagged order for 1,045 buses from Gujarat State Roadways Transport Corporation (GSRTC) and 1,000 Winger ambulances from National Health Mission (NRHM), Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal and Haryana. |

The auto major, which sells Tigor EV in the domestic market, mostly supplying for state-owned EESL's orders, has also decided to adopt a focussed market approach for its EV sales, targeting 20-25 locations across India. |

Tata Motors did not produce any unit of Nano for the second month in a row in February as a question mark remained over future of the entry-level small car. The company has so far maintained that no decision has been made yet on the future of Nano, although in its current form it will not meet the new safety and emission norms and may need an infusion of fresh investments. |

Tata Motors Ltd on Friday denied media reports that it was exploring options for its ailing luxury car unit Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Plc. Two media reports said the company was considering options including a minority stake sale in the JLR unit or finding a venture partner that would jointly develop vehicles and lower costs. |

Tata Motors staff get Rs 9,000 wage hike under pact

Tata Motors has signed a long-term wage settlement (LTS) agreement with its employees that will see workmen get a wage rise of Rs 9,000 per month along with other incentives based on performance. Around 6,500 workmen from the Pune plant will benefit from this agreement. The Tata Motors management and the Tata Motors Employees Union in Pune signed the LTS on Monday. This is the first time that negotiations for the commercial vehicle (CVBU) facility and the passenger vehicle (PVBU) facilities in Pune were conducted jointly. Traditionally, there used to be a six-month lag between the two wage agreements. |

Tata Tiago crosses 2 lakh sales milestone since its launch in 2016

Tata Motors Friday said its hatchback Tiago has crossed cumulative sales milestone of two lakh units in the domestic market. The company had launched the entry level model in April 2016. "The Tiago continues to be one of the few models in the hatchback segment that is still registering positive growth despite being in its third year of production," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Business Unit President Mayank Pareek said in a statement. |
