The bank targets individuals and small to midsized businesses, offering standard deposit products including checking and savings accounts, money market accounts, IRAs, and CDs. Commercial mortgages account for more than 70% of the company's loan portfolio, which also includes consumer loans, business loans, and residential mortgages. Republic First and Metro Bancorp scrapped plans to merge in 2010 due to regulatory difficulties.
