On November 6, 1965, ‘Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya Samiti’ (GSSS; Gandhi Memorial Museum Society), Rajghat, New Delhi, was registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, Vide Regn. No. S.2873 of 1965-66 on 26 November 1965.
