The film is being produced by Illuminati Films.

The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D'Cruz, Govinda, Ranvir Shorey and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Preity Zinta also feature in cameos.

Some parts of the film were shot in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Saif Ali Khan will be playing a funny part in his film Happy Ending, besides playing the lead hero.

Saif will be seen playing the role of Yudi (the lead) and Yogi (the cameo).

While designing the character of Yogi, the first person who came to the mind of producer Dinesh Vijan was none other than music director Pritam.

Pritam and Dinesh Vijan have worked in the past on films like Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail and Agent Vinod.

When Dinesh told the director duo about the same, they jumped with laughter. They were delighted with this thought and decided give Saif's character a look inspired by Pritam.

The film is scheduled for release on November 21, 2014.
