The Charminar is a monument and mosque in Hyderabad, India. The structure was built in 1591 CE. It is the most famous building of Hyderabad and also one of the most famous buildings in India.[1] It was built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shahi to celebrate the end of a deadly plague.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) formerly Victoria Terminus (VT), is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an historic railway station in Mumbai, India which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways. Designed by Frederick William Stevens with influences from Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and traditional Mughal buildings, the station was built in 1887 in the Bori Bunder area of Bombay to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.

Konark Surya temple built in 1278 CE by the Ganga King Narasimha Deva is one of the grandest temples of India and was referred to as theBlack Pagoda. Konark is also known as Konaditya. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the "Toy Train", is a 2 ft (610 mm) narrow gauge railway that runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal, India. Built between 1879 and 1881, the railway is about 78 kilometres (48 mi) long. Its elevation level varies from about 100 metres (328 ft) at New Jalpaiguri to about 2,200 metres (7,218 ft) at Darjeeling.

The Red sandstone walls of the massive Red Fort (Lal Qila) rise 33-m above the clamour of Old Delhi as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors. The walls, built in 1638, were designed to keep out invaders, now they mainly keep out the noise and confusion of the city.
