Bodyguard is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Gopichand Malineli of Don Seenu fame and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. The film features Venkatesh and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, with Saloni Aswani and Prakash Raj in other pivotal roles.

Body Guard is a remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard directed by Siddique. The film, which has music scored by Thaman, will release in January 2012.

After finalizing on the remake, producer Bellamkonda Suresh and actor Ashique approached Siddique, the director of the original Malayalam version to direct the telugu version, but he declined the offer. Later, Gopichand Malineli was roped in as the director. The first look of the film was revealed in August 2011 through a poster.

The soundtrack of the film, composed by S. Thaman, was released worldwide on 13 December 2011. Lyrics were provided by Ramajogayya Sastry, Anantha Sreeram, Sri Mani and Bhaskarbhatla. The music was launched on 13 December 2011 at Shilpakala Vedika Hyderabad.

Victory Venkatesh’s latest romantic action entertainer Bodyguard has Venkatesh Trisha Bodyguard Bodyguard Censor Report completed its censor on 9th Jan 2012. It bagged a clean U certificate and run time of the movie will be 2 hours 34 minutes.

Trisha has signed her third film opposite Venkatesh. This time the film is the remake of Malayalam hit ‘Bodyguard’. The film was also remade into Tamil earlier this year. A Hindi version is also currently being made starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The Telugu version is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh.
