The firm makes Reducol, a dietary supplement ingredient that reduces LDL, the "bad" cholesterol associated with increased risk of heart disease. Pharmavite uses Reducol in its Cholest-Off supplement, and foodmakers in Europe use it in items such as yogurt, milk, and bread.
