Further, the company offers component repair and overhaul services. The Fairchild Corporation was founded in 1925 and is headquartered in McLean, Virginia. On March 18, 2009, Fairchild Corp., along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
