| MFA Oil Company |  | MFA Oil Company was organized in 1929 by Missouri farmers who wanted to be assured of a reliable supply of quality petroleum products at a fair price. The first bulk plant was located at Wright City, MO and seven more plants were established the same year. The energy cooperative, controlled by its farmer-members, produces fuel and lubrication products and manages bulk petroleum and propane plants in the Central US. Operating more than 100 propane plants, the company sells more propane for farm use and home heating than any other company in Missouri. MFA Oil Company also operates nearly 100 bulk plants and serves customers in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
