In addition, Medicis Pharmaceutical provides non-dermatological products, including AMMONUL for treating hepatic encephalopathies; and BUPHENYL for the treatment of urea cycle disorder. The company sells its products primarily to wholesale pharmaceutical distributors and retail pharmacy chains.
