CYPC oversees China's Three Gorges Dam project (the world's largest hydroelectric dam) on behalf of China Yangtze Three Gorges Development, which holds more than 60% of CYPC. In addition the company also provides production technology consultancy, water electric construction support, and repair and maintenance services. It also manages and invests in other power projects.
