Established in 1958, Anyang Iron & Steel company produces steel wire and plates, steel sections, tubes, coking products, pig iron, foundry iron, nodular iron tubes, and other end products. Its metal production encompasses some 50 grades and 2,000 specifications, with about 70% of its exports consisting of ship plates, steel used in pipelines, and other high value-added products. Anyang Iron & Steel company has a production capacity of about 10 million tons a year.
