| Jerky Snack Brands, Inc. | | Established in 1993, Pioneer brand beef jerky was first produced in Mankato, MN. In 2006, Pioneer Snacks, Inc. was succeeded by Jerky Snack Brands, a Company controlled by JBS Group, the major meat producer in the world. The strategic alliance with JBS provides great resources and technology to Jerky Snack Brands. In addition to the Mankato location, a state-of-the-art facility was built in Brazil to not only enhance production capacity, but also bridge access to an important external source.
