The restaurants feature a 1950s-style interior, music, and a burger bar with more than 20 toppings. Most of the chain's locations are found in or near strip malls. Despite the similarity, Cheeburger Cheeburger is not associated with the famous Saturday Night Live skit by John Belushi ("Cheezeborger cheezeborger!") nor with that skit's inspiration, the Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago.
