| ak-mak Bakeries | | At ak-mak Bakeries, four generations of the Soojian family have been very busy. Since 1893, the Soojians have been baking their Armenian flat-bread. Sold under the ak-mak label, the stone-ground, whole-wheat flat crackers are staple products on the shelves of natural foods retailers. Popular at first with dieters and diabetics, the crackers have found favor with the general public and can be found at major retail food outlets nationwide. The company also makes sheets of "country-style" whole-wheat cracker bread, pita bread, and rice cakes. Its products are made with no preservatives or bleaches. It is our desire to provide the highest quality affordable product available to the health conscious consumer. To that end we are often asked about promotions or coupons. To insure that our customers get the best value possible, we prefer to sustain the lowest pricing possible continuously. Promotions cost a considerable amount of money and resources to implement, and then additional costs to administer. This philosophy also aids in another area we feel strongly about and that is to not abuse the environment through the unnecessary use of printed materials such as coupons, advertisements, mailings, etc. | | Visit Website | | Office Address | 89 Academy Ave.,
