| UniHealth Foundation |  | UniHealth Foundation, an independent private health care foundation, was established in 1998. We are committed to becoming a pace-setter in healthcare philanthropy, supporting innovative activities, while provoking and sustaining changes that positively impact health. Our mission is to support and facilitate activities that significantly improve the health and well being of individuals and communities we serve by making grants from two funds. The Hospital Fund, a restricted fund comprised of most of the corporation’s assets. Charitable expenditures from the Hospital Fund are used exclusively for the purpose of funding health care services and programs provided by or through qualified charitable hospitals in specified service areas in Los Angeles and northern Orange Counties.
