Petroleum Marketers, Inc.
Petroleum Marketers, Inc. (PMI), incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia on March 27, 1950, is an employee-owned family of companies whose first goal has always been customer service. Headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, we offer complete lines of branded and unbranded gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, home heating oil, bulk lubricants and motor oils. In addition, we operate branded convenience stores throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Our philosophy, our employees and our superb distribution system have enabled us to become one of the largest petroleum marketers in the Mid-Atlantic region. No fancy name for this company. It is what it says it is. Petroleum Marketers is a full service petroleum company with operations throughout Virginia and in southern Maryland, southern West Virginia, and Tennessee. The company runs a chain of convenience stores/gas stations under the banner Stop In Food Stores. Some locations have fast food eateries (run by its PM Foods division), including Burger King, Subway, and Taco Bell, located within or next door. Petroleum Marketers (which was founded in 1921) is also a supplier of gasoline, diesel fuel, motor oil, and antifreeze.
