Energas Resources has proved reserves of 22,143 barrels of oil and 1.9 billion cu. ft. of natural gas. In 2007 Energas Resources, Inc. sold most of its assets in the shallow Devonian Shale natural gas strata in the Appalachian Basin of Kentucky. President George Shaw owns about 24% of the company. Energas Resources, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 and is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
