| Emerald Energy Plc |  | Emerald Energy is the oil and gas exploration and production company focuses on Colombia, where it has proved and probable reserves of 13.8 million barrels of oil equivalent. Emerald Energy was awarded a contract to drill its first well in the Campo Rico oil field in 2004, and Emerald Energy Plc has since expanded its operations in Colombia. Emerald Energy also has a 50% stake in an oilfield in Syria; Gulfsands Petroleum Syria holds the remaining 50% interest.
